Robin Hurley is the creative consultant to The Estate of Robin Gibb, primarily focusing on the solo work of the legendary singer / songwriter and Bee Gee. He guides the A&R and marketing strategy of Robin Gibb’s catalogue, plus oversees posthumous releases as approved by Robin Gibb’s widow, Dwina.
Hurley first worked with Barry and Robin Gibb when The Bee Gees moved to Warners/Rhino in the mid-2000’s, where he was Senior VP of A&R. Robin Gibb subsequently hired Sea Level to work on the 2012 release of The Titanic Requiem, the classical piece Gibb co-wrote with his son RJ.
Since Robin Gibb’s sad passing in 2012, Sea Level has worked closely with his family and estate's managers, and were instrumental in the release of Robin’s final solo album, 50 St. Catherine’s Drive, in September 2014.
As part of the consulting brief, Sea Level also supervised the redesign and re-launch of Robin Gibb’s website and are currently overseeing a catalogue music project to be released in Spring 2015.
